Meg’s story

Raised by a fearless mother in Rochester, NY, Meg grew up with a profound appreciation for community. She earned a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Technology and Design from SUNY Oswego before branching out beyond Western New York. In Seattle, she worked as a teaching artist, seamlessly blending craftsmanship and nature while performing and set designing in theaters across the Puget Sound. Now based in New York City’s East Village, Meg brings her expertise in devising and movement to her role as an arts educator and co-founder of GrannyCart Theatre, honoring the communities and spaces she serves through her creative practice. Meg is currently making her young self proud by pursing a Masters in Theatre Education at The City College of New York.
